September Favourites

THE VELVET PEONY
It's that time again - monthly favourites! We are more than a week into October but the favourites post is still here - which means a whole new list of most loved and well used products.

Nivea Hydration Lip Balm

I used this a lot the past month. It is safe to say that I dearly love lip care products that work, and this one carried my high expectations for Nivea lip care very well. It is super hydrating and perfect for the extra dry lips I get during the change of seasons.

Coconut Cream Body Scrub

With all the waxing and other forms of hair removal that the summer months brought comes ingrown hairs and dry skin. This body scrub really helped exfoliate all those dead skin cells and ingrown hairs while also adding hydration to my legs. I used this as well as my loofa glove and the results were amazing! The actual scrubbing beads aren't as harsh as some exfoliates tend to be so it's also perfect for sensitive skin (and it smells like coconut)!

Real Techniques Lip Brush

I'm a fan of the Real Techniques brand in general, so when it came to finding the perfect lip brush I knew they would not dissapoint. The brush is super soft and precise. It also has amazing packaging which really helps with transporting it along in a handbag for touch ups. It's retractacble and has a protective little shield as well as a cap so to ensure that you do not ruin the brush or the makeup bag/purse you carry it in.

Dolce&Gabbana Sophia Loren Shine Lipstick

Ok so I was way too excited when I found out that Dolce & Gabbana were making a Sophia Loren lipstick, and I Obviously had to have it. This was also my first Dolce & Gabbana beauty purchase and I must say I'm in love! The formula is amazing; it is long lasting and does not dry out my lips. The shade is also perfect, it is a nice red-pink although it was advertised to be a red, but still it is PERFECTION!

So those were my long overdue favourites for August, thanks for reading and keep checking back for more posts!
